Ministry of Health spokesperson, Or Vandine says “Exercising the necessary preventive measures will allow us to return to new normal”

Phnom Penh: Or Vandine, for the Ministry of Health, says Cambodia will be able to return to normalcy once citizens implement the necessary health and protective measures for their daily lives.

Dr. Or Vandin said today she hopes that Cambodia can get rid of Covid-19 as soon as people implement the three preventive measures properly, and regularly, for their daily lives.

She wrote: "Hoping to get out from COVID-19 box as soon as people continue to practice the 3 do’s and 3 don’t correctly and regularly for their daily lives. Exercising necessary preventive measures will allow us to return to the ‘new normal’ with the opening of businesses."

In a special message from Prime Minister Hun Sen on October 6, he revealed that Cambodia may reopen its socio-economic status after a successful attempt to allow people to travel over the Pchum Ben holiday.

He also continues to remind people to be very careful to wear a mask, to wash their hands with soap or alcohol frequently, keep a safe distance and not go to places where there are high-risks.
